A Holiday Wish

in connect, musings by faryl on December 25th, 2008No Comments

When I watched this video by Ian Dunbar, what struck me most is that the lesson it teaches around perspective and expectations could be applied to people as well.

My holiday wish is we all take a moment to understand  each other’s perspectives, and adjust our actions and expectations accordingly.

Happy holidays, my friends!  I wish you all love, happiness & health.

Hugs,

Faryl

This is a video of Laura Trice’s TED presentation on the “power of saying ‘thank you’”. It’s well worth taking three minutes from your day to watch.

[I want to thank all of you for reading my blog.]

Here’s to “true-ing our wheels” as a first step towards making this world a better place!

I’m going to break the rules.

rebel without a cause

Just another rebel.

Don’t get me wrong – I believe that rules are made to be broken.  I’m just also of the school of thought that one should learn, understand, and possibly master the rules before going ahead and breaking them. read more
