See Who Vists Your Site with TwitterRemote
TwitterRemote, developed by The Next Web, is a nifty new way to see which Twitter users are visiting your website:
TwitterRemote is a small widget you can embed on your site, blog or social profile which displays which Twitter users recently visited your blog. The catch: those Twitter users do have to sign into TwitterRemote first. For now we actually have to ask people for their username + password. As soon as Twitter launched OAuth we will skip that step completely.
After twitter users sign in their profile is displayed on every TwitterRemote enabled website they visit after that. The advantage for site owners is that they see who visits their site and they even have an opportunity to contact these people. Twitter users get a change to improve their visibility for site owners and other visitors. It is kinda like MyBlogLog, or FaceBook connect, but for Twitter! read more
How I Define Social Media: 194%

I’m not a math person. Math is one of the “Three M’s” I avoid in life (the other two being meat and mayonnaise). So you can imagine, numbers don’t do much for me.
Tonight, though, a number spoke to me.
I should probably explain:
I’m sitting here working on a post when I see a tweet from Chris Brogan pop up:
As anyone who reads this blog probably knows, I’m a big fan of Chris – he’s someone I have a ton of respect for.
As anyone who reads Chris’s blog knows, Chris makes it his business to help – rarely do you see him asking for help.

Expectations: The Fearless Blogger SLA (part 2)
Yesterday I talked about wanting to set expectations for this blog and posted the first part of The Fearless Blogger Service Level Agreement (“SLA”). Rather that dedicate too many more posts, I’ve posted the SLA here (you’ll also now see a link in the footer).
I would like to set this post aside to talk about the second part, Tone, however, as I feel it is at the core and heart of any blog.

To quote N*SYNC: “It’s gonna be me.” I guess something else I learned from my numerous jobs (and you’ve probably just learned by my inclusion of an N*SYNC lyric) is I tend to express myself and do things in my own way. Trying to change/temper/contro/mitigate that never lasts long; and at 37 years old, I don’t see it as a good use of energy anyhow. read more
The Fearless Blogger’s Maiden Voyage
I’m going to break the rules.

Just another rebel.
Don’t get me wrong – I believe that rules are made to be broken. I’m just also of the school of thought that one should learn, understand, and possibly master the rules before going ahead and breaking them. read more
